The Founder and CEO, Mr R. Vijayakumar, was keenly interested in providing machinery solutions for the textile industry. In the year 1996, with his passion for innovation, he decided to manufacture fabrication-based textile accessories like Positive clearer for Speed Frame, Comber, Draw frame and spares for overhead cleaners. Over the year of commitment to improving production capabilities and manufacturing infrastructure, he found an opportunity to import Substitute Garment Machineries. Later in 2000, along with him, Mrs Sangeetha Vijayakumar co-founded SKYNIT EQUIPMENT COMPANY in Coimbatore. A new venture to develop Band Knife Cloth Cutting Machine, Fabric Inspection Machine and Garment Furniture.
Our expertise in fabricating machines came in handy to expand our product line with food processing equipment. This conceived the idea of producing a Coconut De-Shelling Machine in 2012. Development in technology and our hands-on approach towards manufacturing further extended to make automation Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and Conveyers of both belt and cleat types. There has been progressive growth since the beginning as the organization has always thrived to deliver up to the quality.
